The post In This Bear Market, Have Some Crypto Opulence at MORE Nightclub appeared first on Bitsonline.

It’s good to see cryptocurrency fans still know how to party — and MORE, the nightclub event night built around crypto payments, is keeping the music turned up. Already well established in Las Vegas at the Bellagio’s trendy Hyde club, MORE expanded into a second venue in Los Angeles last month with its blockchain token membership scheme.

Doing More With Your Crypto Wallet

MORE launched its latest location at The Argyle in Hollywood with a party featuring hip-hop stars Migos and Cardi B. That’s definitely a change from your weekly crypto-of-choice meetup, wherever you live.

As you might expect, the club has its own cryptocurrency, appropriately named MORE Coin. An ERC-20 token, it offers holders more than a vague promise of an ICO pump — it’s a VIP membership to the club itself. You’ll need to hold 5,000 MORE Coin to be a member, but once you’ve done that your membership entitles you to unlimited access to MORE clubs in any location, priority entrance to the club and access to backstage and special events, no cover charge, and concierge services.

When Lambo? Well, Right Now if You Want

For the “when Lambo?” crowd, it also answers that question. Members can pay for exotic car rentals in cryptocurrency. They can also use it, or a number of other popular cryptocurrencies, to buy drinks and other products inside the clubs. Membership is even transferable to friends who happen to be in town by sending the coins to their wallet. That’s handy in a place like Las Vegas, where many partygoers don’t live locally.

The club promises its members will get the chance to rub shoulders with celebrities from the crypto and entertainment industries even at regular events. Notable members include 21 Savage, Shark Tank’s Daymond John, Rich the Kid, Brody Jenner, rap star Saweetie, members of the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, and several current and former UFC athletes. Actually meeting the stars is subject to availability but hey, you do get that opportunity — which is a step up from trying to get backstage anywhere simply by having a bitcoin or ethereum wallet.

Other Cities to Come

Beyond Las Vegas and Hollywood, MORE is looking to launch new clubs in Orange County, Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, and New York. Other cities will follow if it’s all a success.

We can’t promise MORE Coin will moon any time soon, but (for a change) that’s not the point. That means whatever the market condition, even today’s somewhat deflated one, won’t matter in a place where where your cryptocoins are always accepted.

Have you ever been to MORE club? What was it like? Do you think projects like this are a good idea? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments.
